Elmo Alves and his friends Zaus and Francisco in Brazil built this beautiful camera inspired by the Camera Builders’ webpage. Elmo writes: “To build this camera we used wood from a tree that grows in the northen area of Brazil called Angelim, also known as Angelim-da-mata or Mirarema.” They also made the bellows, inspired by Joe Smigel’s instructions. To insert the film holder the ground glass is removed.
