A solargraph is a photo of the sun’s path across the sky, made with a pinhole camera and black-and-white photographic paper. The image is “burned” into the paper and is not developed chemically but scanned in a semi-dark room. The negative image is then flipped horizontally and inverted into a positive image, and contrast and colors can be adjusted. These solargraphs were made in 2024. The photographic paper was Ilford Multigrade RC Pearl. The cameras were half liter drink cans with pinhole diameters around 0.3 mm. Exposure times were two to three months.
